In that case there'd be me, him, plus our three, plus you and your kids. :)JoAnna Wahlundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09942928659520676271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7546639772211374853.post-39322703387842955832011-08-12T15:21:30.481-07:002011-08-12T15:21:30.481-07:00I always take the kids to the March for Life, but ...I always take the kids to the March for Life, but that's not even close to the same thing. I'm not sure how I would be able to be there in the afternoons, so that's not going to work for me either, unfortunately. I'd have to go on a weekend, and I still have the issue of taking the baby, so I'm unsure. I've become fairly inactive after having my last 3 kids and I don't like that. I used to regularly volunteer with the AZRTL and was part of our parish Sanctity of Life committee, but it's so hard for me to get away to do those things now! Thank you for your input. I'm going to keep thinking about it. At least I have some time before the campaign starts. I've been wanting to be a part of one since the beginning.Karahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08057654080632377742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7546639772211374853.post-347372143003138602011-08-11T16:39:29.366-07:002011-08-11T16:39:29.366-07:00Kara, it's a tough call. But part of it has been concern for their welfare as well. At the few vigils I've participated in, there was one incident where someone threw a full can of soda at a vigil participant, and another instance where some men yelled "Abort your babies!" as they drove by. Still, I'd like to think (and hope) that the presence of small children would cause people to think twice before doing something idiotic. Additionally, 40 Days for Life speaks highly of the powerful witness of young children at prayer vigils.

I would, however, recommend that if you go to pray, make sure you won't be there alone, just in case. I plan to participate on either Tuesday or Thursday afternoons, as I get of work at 1pm on those days, so if you ever want to pray with me, I'd be more than happy to join you.JoAnna Wahlundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09942928659520676271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7546639772211374853.post-80370554827325760362011-08-11T13:19:15.249-07:002011-08-11T13:19:15.249-07:00JoAnna, I've always waned to do this but I'...JoAnna, I've always waned to do this but I'm nervous to do so with a baby with me.
